DECEMBER 2016

Alhamdulilah our end of Term One Awards Ceremony went very well on Saturday the 17th December, for GRADES 3 TO 6.

We started off with recitation of Quran ul Kareem by Qari Muhammad Munir Younus.  He moved us with his amazing recitation and the children listened in such peace and awe. It was a sight indeed!

As we progressed the children were so excited and happy with the rewards and prizes. We gave away EIGHTY prizes to our 1st, 2nd, 3rd winners and 6 runner up prizes per class across two awards ceremobies. Everyone who participated in the Arts & Crafts competition got a small gift wether they won or not. The excitement in the hall was amazing!

Every Grade recited one of the Surahs they had memorised that term. They also performed their nasheed for that term!

We gave away hundreds of certificates! Many of our students got 100% Attendance amongst so many other achiements this term.

We talked to the children about why Rabi Ul Awwal is a special month. We gave examples of some historical events which took place during this month in Islamic history.

We talk to the children about the birth of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the significance of this upon us. We talked about our love for our Prophet ﷺ and what we have learnt from Him and His life.

We read out the LAST SERMON of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to the children as there are messages in it for us all! We must say that the children were so well behaved yesterday and they listened SO attentively to the last sermon that we were just amazed looking at them listening so well. SUBHAN'ALLAH.  The last sermon is full of words that are so moving and can bring a tear to any eye.

All the children prayed Dhur in congregation led by our very own Grade 6 male teacher.

Everyone had an amazing time. Everthing went to plan and we hope our invited guests and parents also had a great time. Please see a few pictures of the hall moments before it was full of parents, students and staff. Subhan'Allah!

May Allah swt keep the noor of our beautiful deen forever in our children's hearts and minds.

DECEMBER 2016

This Saturday, GRADES 3, 4, 5 & 6 designed and decorated an "I LOVE MY PROPHET" card for 10mins at the end of the Islamic studies lesson. Next week grade 1 & 2 will also carry out the same activity. At the awards ceremony for our upper grades we will be talking about the blessed month of Rabi Ul Awwal. We will give examples of some historical events which took place during this month in Islamic history.

We will talk to the children about the birth of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the significance of this upon us. We will talk about our love for our Prophet ﷺ and what we have learnt from Him and His life.

We will also read the LAST SERMON of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to the children as we did last year.

MAY THE UNDYING LOVE OF RASUL ALLAH ﷺ FOREVER REMAIN IN OUR HEARTS TILL THE END OF TIME. AMEEN. ❤

Anas radi Allahu ‘anhu (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said,
